The Victoria 5112 amplifier is a classic Fender Champ in a larger 1x12 combo configuration!
No doubt about it... Champs are just plain fun! Bad thing is, I can't tell you how many times I've heard people complain about the boxy sound of the 8" speaker in a Champ. Well, this amp was brought about to address that very concern.
This is a faithful recreation of the famous '57-'61 5F1 Champ circuit, only mounted in a solid pine 12" Tweed Deluxe sized cab.
As with all Victoria Amplifiers, Mark spared no expense designing and building the 5112 accurately and with extreme precision. No need for reverb! The harmonic overtones work with the pine cab to fill out each note and chord in a way only classic tweeds can. Like we mentioned before... Champs are just plain fun!
Output: 5 watts Circuit Design: 5F1 Type Single Ended Operation, Cathode Bias Design Tube Configuration: 1 x 5Y3, 1 x 6V6, 1 x 12AX7 Speaker: Eminence Legend 12" Dimensions: 16.5" x 20" x 10" Weight: 27 lbs.
When it comes to vintage amps, chasing the original Fender tweed tone has become something of a grail quest. Perhaps no other modern amp comes closer to nailing it than the Victoria 5112. With just a single volume knob, this recreation of the '57 - '61 5F1 Champ circuit is as pure and simple as the original. A 12" Eminence Legend speaker keeps the sound big, despite the minimal three-tube 5W configuration. If you've been looking for the original tweed tone with modern reliability, this is it.
