About This Listing

Serial Number:  1690

The first synthesizer ever made by Korg in 1973, this original Univox Mini-Korg synthesizer is in excellent condition! This instrument is a lovely little analogue synth capable of fat Moog-like tones. These are really unique synths made with high-quality Japanese engineering, style, and cosmetic beauty.

This synthesizer’s sole owner took great care of the instrument and its original UNIVOX case (RARE), which is also included in the sale. The outside of the case is protective and in great condition with all latches and hinges working perfectly. The foam on the inside of the case is brittle from age and is easily replaced.

This model of synthesizer has been played/recorded by such artists as:  The Cure, ComaTeens, Kitaro, Human League, N-Trance, Vangelis, The Normal, Stevie Wonder, The Cars, and Paul Hardcastle.
