This is a nice playing guitar I picked up in an attempt to acquaint myself with the 24 3/4 scale guitars. It was a failure. I guess I am just straight up 25.5" scale as I found myself never wanting to play this. And I never feel comfortable playing them so it's gotta go. (original specs below) BTW did not mention I have a gig bag that this will be shipped inside of. Not super duper but pretty decent. I forgot I had it from when this was purchased. It sits on a stand in my room.
So how does this one vary from the originally shipped? Push pulls were removed and replaced with CTS pots. Switchcraft switch installed. Bridge replaced with Hipshot Baby Grand. And the pickups have been upgraded. This is where it is a touch a mystery as this was changed prior to my purchase.. The bridge pickup is a Jim Wagner Pickup. They do not make notations to identify model. I am guessing it is a Godwood/Goodwood based on the fact it is not naturally to the hotter side. The Neck Pickup is a Bare Knuckle Pickup but they also do not denote models on the pickup. Based on sound I would think it is a Mule(PAF) or similar and would make sense when pairing with the JWP. That said short of pulling them and throwing a multimeter on there I have to guess.
They sound the way you would expect this sort of pickup to sound.
