Made in the USA, lightweight and with great acoustic and electric tone. What more could you want from an A/E bass? The B4CE is Guild's thinner version of the classic B4 and it is a lot more player friendly without sacrificing natural unplugged tone. Solid spruce top, mahogany set-neck with rosewood fretboard, mahogany sides and a beautifully grained carved mahogany back. Top it all off with a 4-band Fishman 9-volt preamp and you know this bass means business. Only 3 1/8" thick with a 30 1/2" scale length; i 5/8" wide at the nut. Perhaps the nicest spec of all is that the bass weighs only 5 1/4 lbs! Only a few minor marks and no gouges or major nicks.
