Bass San Diego is pleased to offer this 1954 Fender Precision Bass in very good condition.  A timeless classic all the way...too cool for school.

Nitro lacquer over natural Blonde on a slab Ash body, beautifully aged;

Maple neck and fret board with minor wear under the strings in the upper register, a result of Leo's original intent for the Precision to mimic the sound of an upright;

One ply black Bakelite pick guard;

Cool pressed fiber bridge saddles(!);

Single coil first generation Precision pickup (all original);

One bolt maple tug bar (!);

We believe the case is Fender, from 1964-65 (no Fender logo).
