Modulus "Flight 4-SP" headless 4 string bass + custom HSC - extremely rare, 1983, black

Extremely rare electric bass - Modulus Graphite Flight 4 headless bass. The neck is the same Modulus Graphite material/construction as all Modulus necks, except the tuners are at the bottom and the ball of the strings are at the top. Bolt-on neck with 4 allen bolts.
Extremely light and easy to play. Active EMG pickups. Brass bridge.
This instrument has its own sound of course and is an alternative to all your other basses. A great bass for a small person, or for someone with small hands, or for someone who wants very little weight on their shoulders when playing. There is a small epoxy repair near the ball of the G string but it is of cosmetic concern only, the G string is held perfectly solid as well as the other strings. It would be possible to smooth out the epoxy repair to where you can't see it, but I haven't done it or had it done. Geoff Gould of Modulus back in the day is still around as is Rich Hoeg who worked for Modulus for decades building basses for people like Phil Lesch of the Dead. This should go to someone who collects rare basses imo. Try to find another one of these. I could not. I now ship registered with full insurance ONLY.
