THIS IS A PROJECT GUITAR
I picked up this guitar as a kit from thefretwire.com. It is an HSS offset kit. I spent some time sanding and applying finish the guitar. During which I fell in love with it. Unfortunately I have to part ways with it because of college.
The good:
- the finish is a beautiful matte Black
-the neck is the smoothest and fastest neck I have ever played. I took extra care in finishing it.
-good balance, no neck diving.
The not so good:
-neck alignment (high E string is almost. It even on the fretboard)
-proper bridge tuning or re-install
-full tune and setup
-very mediocre pickups
-bridge is missing the springs and screws for 2 of the saddles.
Will include some Ernie Ball 10's.
She would be a beautiful sounding guitar if the proper work and time put into her. Unfortunate I don't have that time.
