This is a Fender USA Jazzmaster pickguard from the AVRI '62 Jazzmaster. This pickguard came off a 2007 model Jazzmaster which was being refinished in Surf Green (and changed to a Mint Green pickguard instead).

This pickguard is more a brown tortoiseshell which personally I think looks better than the red, pepperoni style ones you sometimes see. It has great swirl to it and interesting patterns.

It is in very good condition, with expected light pick scratches from use. There are also some circular marks around the pot holes where the knobs being turned made little grooves in the top. These are obviously completely covered when the tone and volume knobs are installed. I have tried to photograph these in the light.

There are no cracked holes or big gouges out of this pickguard.

The back of the pickguard shows some corrosion/staining where it was tight against the metal shield plate underneath. Again, you obviously won't see this when it's installed but I like to list everything.

The photo of it installed on the white Jazzmaster is simply to show the guitar that it originated from. THE GUITAR IS OBVIOUSLY NOT INCLUDED WITH THE PICKGUARD.
