This is a vintage Silvertone (danelectro) U1 1444 dolphin nose bass. It sounds KILLER - tons of rich, vintage tone. Perfect for blues, honkytonk country, rockabilly, or r&b. It currently has flat-wounds on it for a heavy upright- style tone. It has a few nicks and dings concurrent with its age, but overall is in good shape. The neck is straight and the action is great! Please see the photos for condition- I'm not an expert on basses. Feel free to ask any questions! After looking closely, the knobs are clearly vintage- more cream than white, and definitely old. They look original to me. Thanks!
