Here's a hard to find guitar. An old original Hagstrom Super Swede, or Swede De luxe made in Sweden (Where else?). One of about 1500 made. The humbucker routes are labeled "79" (see picture, and note how well the neck tenon fits.. this is not a 70's Gibson!)

Notable differences from regular vintage Swede:
Zero fret
Coil split switch
Set neck
Very cool 6 piece tailpiece and roller bridge.
25.75" scale (quite unusual for a Les Paul style guitar is this era)

Love the I-Beam truss rod. Neck is still an arrow after 40 years. Plays great, has that mahogany warmth and depth, but is snappy too because of the long scale and sturdy reinforced neck.
The original pickups are bright and articulate, similar to a 50's Gibson.

This guitar is definitely a player, it has seen a lot of action- the pics will tell the story. Lots of dings, but no breaks!

This had a couple mods done over the years. The strap buttons are Schaller locking, and mini toggle has been replaced - though the old one is included. And most importantly, it has been professionally refretted with 103x47 wire, and a stainless zero fret. The old frets are included in a bag ( and are super flat and miserable ).
Everything else is original to my knowledge.

Comes with a nice Hiscox case made in UK. Fits the longer neck well and is very light and sturdy.

Let me know if you have any questions or offers. These don't come up very often.
