1990 Fender JP-90 EMG P/J Bass Made in USA

Amazing playing bass, sounds phenomenal thanks to the brand new EMG P/J active pickups. Master volume, master tone, and three-way pickup selector switch. As always, the pickups are absolutely noiseless and there are absolutely no grounding, feedback, or other unwanted noises. Includes Fender original electronics in the event you would want to reinstall later. Added 'F' neckplate and new Schaller strap lock buttons. Strung with brand new D'Addario XL160 strings.  Structurally excellent, as neck is very tight in the pocket and truss rod works perfectly. Bass is very light (about 7 lbs on average) and is very comfortable either standing or sitting. Early production model, with the truss rod access at the heel...majority of these oddball instruments had the early 90s truss rod access at the nut. Ships without a case, but will be treated like eggs!

Anyways, as you can see from the photos, had definitely been played and it shows. Tons of blemishes, dings, and apparently strap relocations. Nothing that impacts performance, tone, or playability. Mostly cracks in finish. This is certainly not a museum piece, but it is also the best sounding and playing JP-90 I've ever had through the shop.
