I have (5) Modules from a 1987-88 Seymour Duncan amp i modified and sold 7 years ago. You
will find the amp on Youtube. JCM 800. Like a dummy i marked these with
a magic marker when i was experimenting with different values of
resistors and bypass caps to create my own tone.
I cleaned them and got the magic marker notation values off each module. Each has a different gain structure. They are not marked as to what gain each modules gain is. Love them as they are, or build your own tone/
The present gain values range from Fender clean,Marshall, to Thunder Tweaks Top Fuel high gain. I should have never marked them. We all do things we regret later not knowing the value sometimes.
I am a 45 year amp repairman and these are all in working order. Plate,Grid,Cathodes,Filaments The cool thing about these modules is, you can remove each board and change any resistor or cap value out to build your own Preamp module's tone.
