Republic Classic Biscuit Cone Wood Resonator w/ Schatten NR-2 Pickup

For sale is my used Republic Classic Biscuit Cone Wood Resonator.

I have upgraded this guitar with a Schatten NR-2 pickup and Zero Glide nut (nut width is 1 7/8"). Check out  to learn more about the Zero Glide nut and how it improves the tone and playability of an instrument.

The guitar also comes with a lightweight flight case.

I bought this guitar new in 2014 and have kept it in very good condition. It is setup for finger-style/slide playing (action works well for both standard and slide playing). Republic guitars are assembled and set up in Texas. Great bottleneck blues tones! This is a delta blues machine! Nice fat neck (the thickness of the neck feels more like a Gibson than a Fender, if you ask me). The body and neck are both mahogany. Cosmetically, the guitar looks good and is slightly tarnished on the cover plate. Also, you can see where I sanded the headstock to install the Zero Glide nut.

This is a great guitar for someone wanting to play some delta or Piedmont blues!
