Selling an original, early-mid 70's all tube Traynor YBA-3 Custom Special bass head. This heavy powerhouse of an amp uses 4x EL34 power tubes and 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes. I have owned this amp since 2006 and had it serviced that same year. (tubes, fan, etc)
As you can see in the picture, the front baffle is not original. When I got this amp, it was missing the baffle but still had the logo. I cut a decent piece of plywood and wrapped it in tan Fender style grill clothe to pretty it up again. These originally had a silver grill and the logo was on the right side, not the left.
I really do not want to let go of this amp, because it is equally great on guitar as it is bass, and it has so much snot and volume. If you ever see another one of these again, perhaps you will find it slightly cheaper, but they almost never come to the surface because the owners don't give these up.
Shipping will cost an extra $100 as it weighs roughly 60+ pounds and will require a lot of packaging (tubes will be shipped inside another box within the main box, etc). I will currently only ship to the lower 48. Thank you for understanding.
