For example with the Echolette-Speaker LE4 (used as pure melody speaker during the Beat era). I connected the speakers to my Fender Bassman 50 and suddenly heard the angels in musicians' heaven. Sound: very clean yet impressive as well as great performance for the specified 40 watts.
2x12" pure German Isophon speakers show the best sides of themselves also with the right overdrive and that just by its 8 kg. ( 2 Speakers)
Now I know what we did wrong in the Sixties. We had no idea what "pieces of gold" we used.
From this experience of hearing them I was urged to try still some old German amps and was just as amazed at what they can do.
