This is one of my newest Waterslide Guitars builds that combines an Alder Telecaster-style body with a Mahogany neck and two Jason Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers. As with all of my guitars, it's all "Made in the USA". If you like the guitar but would prefer a different neck, pick guard, pickups, etc, just send me a message and we'll see what we can do. Check out my other guitars here in my Reverb store for ideas.
This guitar features an Alder body with a Nitrocellulose Lacquer Aged White finish that's been relic'd and aged with beautiful checking throughout. The whole guitar weighs in at 7lbs 11oz total so it's easy on the shoulder and balances well.
The 25.5" scale length neck is a beautiful piece of straight-grained Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard & comfortable rounded edges. It's 1.685" at the nut with a 10" radius and 6105 frets. The back profile is a 50's style Soft V to D profile that's .85" at the 1st fret and .96" at the 12th. Tuners are vintage style Kluson.
The pickups are a set of aged Lollar Low Wind Imperials paired with Bourns audio taper pots, a 3-way switch, Sprague Orange Drop, cloth covered wiring and an Electro Socket jack. The knobs are vintage style radio knobs that are easy to grab and add to the guitar's retro vibe. The pick guard is made up a few pieces of salvaged vintage tortoise material that is very fiery and detailed.
The bridge can also be used a top loader if you'd like to experiment with twang levels and the saddles are compensated brass for accurate intonation.
Great parts and great care go into these guitars and this one comes in a Tweed Hardshell case for $1,399 + shipping. Please email me for international shipping rates.
I also take custom orders, check out my website Waterslideguitars.com
Demo video was recorded directly into GarageBand, no amps or pedals were used.
