Vintage 1950's Danelectro-Silvertone Lipstick Guitar Pickup DC and U Models #2

This listing is for a Vintage Original Danelectro or Silvertone Lipstick Electric Guitar Pickup. This pickup was made in the 1950's or early 1960's and came out a Danelectro/Silvertone guitar. This is an original vintage Danelectro or Silvertone Lipstick tube pickup and is not a repro or reissue. While the pickup originally came out of an electric guitar there is no difference between the guitar pickups and the bass pickups in this period. The pickup has been thoroughly tested and is working and sounding great. The pickup measures 3.91k ohms which is the correct range for these pickups. The pickup shows a fair amount of cosmetic wear and patina on the cover. The pickup is for a back mounted Danelectro or Silvertone. This is important. There are many different Danelectro & Silvertone guitar models. The early ones prior to roughly 1966 are usually back mounted but after 1966 there are some top mounted pickups models. The typically models you will see a back mounted pickup are the U1 & U2 Models and the DC-1 or DC-2 models along with the early amp in case models such as 1457 and 1448.
