Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird 2012 Pelham Blue *upgrades*

2012 Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird bass in Pelham Blue with the original hardshell case, manual, wrenches, and hang tags.

These do not come up very often and are an affordable way to get a Made in USA version of the original limited run non-reverse model from the 60s.

To make it look closer to the 60s model, I moved the output jack and tone knobs, and replaced the hardware and pickups with chrome versions. The tuners were replaced with chrome Grovers, just like the original, and the 3-point bridge was upgraded to a Hipshot SuperTone model. The original PUs are included, but the original bridge and tuners are NOT. 

Cosmetically, the bass has a couple of things that keeps it from being a collector's piece. The original owner added a second set of strap buttons, which left a hole at the neck heel and lower bout. The previous owner also left a Ramones sticker on the bass which created some slight discoloring by the bridge which is both hard to photograph and see in person, but I want to disclose everything. The nitro finish on these also shows a few marks that you can see by the pickup ring and bridge. Finally, the previous owner left the bass in a guitar stand or hook that ate away at the nitro - this is pretty common if you don't know any better with Gibson's. All of the above are pictured, please see the photos for details. None of these impact the playability or sound, and the bass is amazingly fun to play.

I have it priced taking the cosmetics into account, and am open to reasonable offers. These reissues were a limited run just like the originals. Grab this one up before it disappears!
