1959 Gibson Switchcraft three position toggle pickup selector switch for
Les Paul and ES-335 guitars. Nickel finish. Good vintage
condition for a used part of this age.
This switch exhibits all of the correct characteristics for the late
1950s, including: NO "Switchcraft" branding on the side of the switch,
white nylon slider button, and grounding wire covered in brown cloth
shielding. Also included are two tailpiece studs, 2 bridge thumbwheels and 2 strap buttons (one missing a screw). These came from an old luthier shop, taken from a 1959 Gibson ES335 and we have no reason to believe that they are not completely original. Very rare and hard to find parts for anyone restoring a highly valued 1959 ES335 or Les Paul of that year.
This part is vintage correct for 1958-1960 Les Paul "BURST", 1956-1958 Les Paul "Goldtop", 1958-1960 ES-335 "Dot", ES-175, and other guitars manufactured between 1956 - 1960. Feel free to contact our shop with any questions. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm EST
