Adding Knockouts:

• To properly locate knockouts we will need you to specify the chassis mounting orientation and the intended control layout. Reversing the orientation or layout will mirror the location of your knockouts on the chassis. Typical mounting orientations are open side up, open side down or vertical (tweed combo style). The control layout must be specified as either standard or reverse. A standard layout will have the input jack(s) on the left in the front as viewed in the final mounted assembly. A reverse layout will have the input jack(s) on the right like many vintage Marshalls. For clarity - your chassis control panel will remain undrilled / blank - we just need to know the intended layout to ensure your IEC and transformer KOs get located properly.

• When adding an IEC inlet please specify the desired location from chassis edge to the center of the knockout. Unless otherwise specified the IEC will be centered by height on the chassis rear panel. We have setups for both standard and fused IEC types. We can also offer a knockout with flatted sides sized to fit a Heyco 18-3 cord grip when a fixed power entry is desired.

• We are setup to produce knockouts for most vintage-style power transformers from 5W up to 100W. You will need to specify your Tx's mounting hole centers to ensure we have a setup appropriate for your size. Please specify your desired transformer location as measured from the chassis edges to the center of the knockout. Remember to also specify your desired mounting orientation: long to long (LL) or long to short (LS). LL means that the long dimension of the transformer will run parallel to the long dimension of the chassis.

Mounting Hardware:

• When adding mounting hardware a custom drill guide template will be included. This template is intended to simplify the process of transferring the chassis mounting holes to your cabinet to ensure precise alignment. When ordering multiple identical chassis at the same time all mounting hardware will be installed using a single template helping to ensure that your chassis and cabinets will fit interchangeably. 10-32 rivet nuts are our standard mounting hardware option, 8-32 rivet nuts are available by request.

Feel free to inquire about a custom laser engraved faceplate.
