1964 Kay 803 Tube Amp

I have a vintage Kay 803C amplifier in excellent condition! These amps were made by the Kay Company between 1964 and 1965. They are less seldom seen than the more popular 503 and 703 models. This amp looks like it has been preserved in a time capsule. Everything is original down to the last screw. When I first received it there was significant hum with no output. This has since been fixed by a professional tech. A new multi-cap has been spliced in as well as new power caps. The originals were left in place for looks. It sounds great when dimed and breaks up nicely. The hum is very low even when the volume is maxed out and you can barely tell the amp is running.
