Today, We're very pleased to offer this 1997 Guild S-100 Polara Electric Guitar w/ NEW Guardian Hardshell Case! It has been heavily used over the years and shows noticeable cosmetic wear, yet is in very good playing condition! One of the best playing guitars in our store, it absolutely blows away any Les Paul and is the guitar the SG wishes it could be! Feels fantastic and sounds great with its Seymour Duncan '59 (neck) & JB (bridge) humbuckers! Guild style from the ’70s is back and better than ever with the return of the solid-body S-100 guitar. With its solid and slightly offset mahogany body, the S-100 Polara evokes its esteemed and hard-rocking predecessor of more than 40 years ago. Responsive and versatile, it also features a distinctive 24-3/4″ scale, rock-solid mahogany neck, and a potent pair of Seymour Duncan pickups. Includes NEW Guardian hardshell case.
BODY The body shows scratches, dings and finish checking, as well as yellowing of the cream color from several years of gigging. It definitely has the mojo of an instrument from the '70s and is very aesthetically pleasing!
NECK Neck is nice and straight! Frets show moderate play wear. Noticeable finish wear can be seen on both sides of the neck and several scratches/finish chips can be seen on headstock.
ELECTRONICS Equipped with its original electronics including Seymour Duncan '59 (neck) & JB (bridge) humbuckers. It features 2 volume/2 tone control knobs, 3-way selector switch and phase switch.
HARDWARE Chrome hardware is in very good condition with a few light scratches and normal oxidation. Control knobs appear to be replacements.
