Definitely a player's drum. Pictures accurately represent condition. Good shape considering Eisenhower was President when it was built!
Very clear Dec 5 1958 date stamp. Structurally very good except for small hole in shell opposite badge. Badge is loose but not going anywhere. A couple scuffs in the wrap. Two T-rods are unoriginal. No spurs or tom mount, and no holes drilled for them; I think this was a student concert bass drum or even a marching drum. It's the same 3-ply shell and sounds great with a kit. I will include DW hoop-clamp spurs and the NEW Ludwig Atlas Classic Bag you see here. This drum sounds wonderful but I don't use it anymore.
