Eames Natural Tone Birch 2004 White Marine Pearl with Pearl Hardware

For sale is a wonderful 2004 Eames Drum Kit! Eames has been turning out high quality boutique drums since 1950! This appears to be the Natural Tone model, 9 ply (3/8") Birch shells with beautiful bearing edges. This is one of those kits that is so much fun to play it's hard to put it down!

Sizes are: 22" Bass Drum, 10" Tom, 12" Tom and 14" Floor tom.

The bass drum has been drilled for a May mic'ing system, with Pearl bass drum spurs and generic lugs and tension claws. There are a few rubber gaskets under a few of the lug casings that are broken (does not impact structure or tuning), wrap is tight with discoloration near the seam. Single Pearl tom mount will hold one Pearl style tom arm.

The 10" and 12" toms have Pearl Optimount mounts. Generic lugs and triple flanged hoops. The wrap seams have some discoloration, the 10" seam lies flat and is tight. The 12" seam is tight but there is a little light wrap curl.

14" floor tom has Pearl floor tom leg mounts, generic lugs, triple flanged hoops and chrome legs. Wrap again has some discoloration near seam. The seam is tight with a little curl.

The kit sounds great live and in the studio! Eames states that Natural Tone kit is a "mid-range shell with controlled or centered resonance, round tone and wide tuning range. Ideal for close miking."

Everything works as it should. Cosmetically, the chrome is in nice shape with less than expected wear. The wrap is in very nice condition with the exception of the discoloration near the seams. New Evans batter and bass drum heads.
