About This Listing

Thank you for checking out TC Gakki! We are a music store located in Tokyo with over 30 years experience! All photos are of the actual item for sale. More photos are available upon request. Please ask if you have any concerns and we will do our best to answer!

The first models exhibited as a manufacturer at NAMM SHOW in 1985 are Standard 24 and Custom 24. The 1986 PRS Custom 24 / Royal Blue is the initial model of the guitar that can be called the origin of Paul Reed Smith, which continues to be released with repeated minor changes. The head logo is a gold decal logo with the TM (trademark) logo, which is the earliest specification from 1985 to the middle of 1986. The fingerboard uses Brazilian rosewood, a rare wood whose import and export are currently restricted, and has a slightly stronger attack than Indian rosewood. There are many manual parts on the first string side of the cutaway, and the early model has a sharply carved mountain toward the body top, giving it a more three-dimensional finish. The body back is also manually machined, and the side parts are slightly smoothed.
