This is a 1983 Fender Gemini II Acoustic
Solid Spruce Top (extremely well aged), with Nato back and sides. Nato is an African form of Mahogany, the only difference is that it contains more mid range. It is now on the endangered species list, and can no longer be used, therefore making it a rare find to see a guitar with this wonderful tone wood.
This guitar is very honest, it makes your mistakes pop out, but it plays like a dream, and if played well, sounds better than any Martin or Taylor I've ever played. And this baby has sustain! If you play the 12th fret harmonic, just listen and count the seconds. I think the last time I actually counted, it sustained for 45 seconds! Absolutely mental. An absolute gem of a guitar!
