Shecter Hellcat VI

Music49 is an authorized distributor for Schecter Diamond Series and Schecter USA Guitars.  We received this guitar direct from Schecter (in Sun Valley, CA) and it carries full Manufacturer's warranty.  The guitar pictured is the actual guitar that we have in stock, and is the exact guitar you will receive if purchased.

So, Schecter named this color "Ivory Pearl".....but we actually feel that it's more accurate to call this color "antique Ivory" because it doesn't have any pearl flake in the finish that we can see, and it's really not a glossy guitar, kind of has a texture where we can almost feel the wood grain under the paint.  All that having been said, we're glad that it's not glossy and metallic, because it's got such a Vintage feel that it's perfect!!!!

And also, here's the deal....if you're a guitarist who really wants to be able to play the occasional bass line on a gig or a recording, you absolutely have to try one of these!!!!  It's so much fun to play, you can still piddle around with pentatonic scales and such, but have this crazy bass(ish) sound when you play!!!!!  You definitely don't have to be Victor Wooten to enjoy it, and you don't even have to run it through a bass amplifier to get a cool sound out of it (we actually love it through the Marshall Mini-Jubilee).  Really cool to play white stripes/black keys sort of stuff on!!!!!!

Check out our facebook page, we'll definitely do a video on this one.

The MUSIC49 Difference:
Music49 is an actual independent guitar shop located in Concord, NC.  This is the actual guitar that we have in stock, it's not a cover photo from the internet.  We have actually played this guitar, and gone over it to check all functionality of the instrument, so it's not sitting on a shelf in a non-climate controlled warehouse......instead, it's in our shop, in the same humidity as the custom guitars we build, and we will go over the guitar again with a "fine tooth comb" before we ship it to the customer.  If you have any preferences for setup or strings, please contact us before shipping because we have the ability to fine tune any aspects of this guitar.  If we have not had any specific requests, we do our own inspection to ensure quality, and maintain the Manufacturer's specifications.

Not a guitar, bass, or even a baritone in today's terms, the Hellcat VI (six!) is designed to be an improvement of the 6-string bass instrument of the early 1960s. With a 30" scale, the Hellcat VI is standard tuned, but one octave below a normal guitar. String gauges range from .025 to .095. comes with USA custom shop Schecter Monstertone stack pickups.
