This is a vintage, all original, Penco 'tele' in true closet
classic condition. Manufactured in Japan from 1974 to 1978 (in the same
factory as Ibanez guitars - Hoshino Gakki), Penco guitars were
distributed in the U.S. by the Philadelphia Music Company.
Beautiful overall condition, almost flawless aged/yellowed ivory finish, smooth neck, minimal fret wear and unique double 'neck' pickup with a matching chrome cover on the bridge pickup. This was found as-is so it does need some light adjustments and the tone pot replaced, switching to neck is spotty, otherwise it sounds great. Other than some typical wear to the chrome / flaking on the knobs, this is actually a really decent guitar in really great shape. Being that it's over 40 years old, however, it's being sold as-is. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like any other info.
Comes with original hardshell case & vintage Columbia Records Ace-style strap.
