MTX STEREO SPEAKERS FLOOR SPEAKERS 12" 4 WAY # AAL1240 4 Ohm 4 LAYER COILS BIG BASS HOME HI FI

 Here's basically a flawless pair of AAL 1240's... MTX is famous for their great sound and meaty low end response...  These are no different...
  These are sooo nice, because I went through and replaced EVERYTHING That needed it, including completely rebuilding the woofers from the voice coils out to the front mounting gaskets with all new AMERICAN parts....
   ALL speakers operate properly and without rubbing/buzzing/etc.

   12" woofers 4 Ohm with FOUR layer voice coils, a 5" lower  mid, a 4" upper  mid and a 2x6 compression horn tweeter for a true 4 way system WITH a ducted port...When new they were 50Hz-22KHz, now a little lower  after hot rodding  at 38 or so for an HONEST low end....(FM radio is 50Hz-15KHz!)

  Spring loaded bare wire terminals in the rear...

 From the early 80's when speakers were all wooden and built like furniture. Each is around 30 pounds, so I apologize for the shipping, but they are heavy speakers...
