Kawlabo Spiron EM-5100 Vintage Analog Synth Organ w/ Orig Bag Extremely Rare '70s Japan John Lennon

Up for sale is SPIRON EM-5100, a unique snail shaped analog accordion synth famous for being owned and used by John Lennon during his visit to Japan in the '70s. One of the rarest and strangest Japanese electronic musical instruments made in very limited quantities by KAWLABO.

The unit appears to be working reasonably well, all the switches and buttons and knobs working fine, with all the preset sounds and effects working well to the best of my knowledge. I noticed some of the keys and bass/chord buttons seem to have slight bad contacts which I guess is something common with these vintage units, and should probably get better as you play, or could do with some servicing/adjustment.

The built-in speaker sounds fine, as well as the output jacks working fine. The unit is chargeable, I was able to play for about an hour after I kept the unit charged for few hours. You can also play while plugged into a power outlet too.

Cosmetically the unit is in nice and reasonable condition for its 40+ year old age as you can see. There are some wear marks and chips on the wood body with a few of the screws seem to be missing on the bottom but nothing too major I suppose. I'm including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks.

**This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. You will need a stepdown voltage converter for 120V - 220V regions.
