About This Listing

WFL, 1950/60s, JAZZ FESTIVAL, 5.5X14, BLACK OYSTER

This snare pre-dates the legendary snare that Ringo Starr played in the Beatles. It's a VERY early Jazz festival, probably from 1959 or 1960. The drum is in beautiful all original condition. Brass hoops, no fade, rotary muffler, deep 5,5x14 shell, mahogany interior, maple rings, original wires, super cool old Weather Master heads top and bottom (there's a little tear in the top head).  Everything in beautiful condition. No flaws, Nothing broken, missing or damaged. Here's the drum that inspired Ringo before he inspired the entire planet!!
