Lafayette Guyatone Zenon 1966? Electric Guitar 2 Pickup Two Tone Green Japan Rare

       Presenting a really cool rare 1966 Lafayette Electric guitar. Has a Fender jaguar vibe
Excellent looking 2 tone green finish. Made by Guytone , Zenon ZEN-ON in Japan
Both Gold foil pickups work. The 2 pickup on off switches' work. The 2 tone switches work. The 2 volume controls work. The tone control not so responsive. All three pots are quality ALPS made in Japan. I have never seen these on a import.
The tremelo bar spring is in some sort of lock position. There is a spring tension adjusting screw. Dont want to mess with it. The tremelo arm hold screw is not original. There are a few hairline cracks on the pickguard
 near the controls. The Lafayette logo is screened under the paint on the pickguard.
It is actually clear plastic painted green underneath.
.On one pickup all 6 of the mini Allen type string screws are missing. There were 3 on each I put all 6 on one. This does ot effect pickup performance. Should be easily replaced.
The neck is straight with excellent frets. The bridge has micro adjustments. A setup is due for best performance. Original case included.
Overall a real nice vintage guitar that rarely turns up. Only seen 2 other examples on the net but with different pickups.
The last photo of the alternate version of this guitar  cardboard shupping box is shown  just as a example  and not part of this listing. The photo on the box shows pickups that are on this guitar. Yet the guitar that came with it has different pickups. So my version must be earlier by a year or 2.
The listing  i found with this photo stated  that  the later version was from 1967.
