About This Listing

Product Description

Up for sale is the lightest solid body guitar I've ever owned. This catalyzed lacquer finished, Fujigen Japan built SG ticks all the boxes. It's stupid light, resonates for days, and feels like a world class instrument. It has the a thicker neck than most SG's, almost a typical 50's profile, but a hair slimmer. Still much meatier than a typical 60's Slimtaper SG neck. The bridge is a ABR-1 type with wire (vintage correct minus the 60's nylon saddles). The fretwork is amazing. I've always felt that the standard production Epiphone's lacked a sense of player-instrument connection. This particular guitar has none of that. It feels just as special as a Nashville Gibson. There's no fret buzz anywhere on the neck, and can coup with bends all while letting each note ring out without hindrance. It has the aesthetically pleasing early 60's style pickguard. It has vintage Kluson style tuners. It plays wonderfully. The nut is cut perfectly.

Includes: Epiphone gig bag
