Purchased this for use on a surf-inspired project. It performed wonderfully in this role.
The tolex definitely shows it's age, as it is all original, and the handle was replaced some time ago. Includes original back panel (not pictured).
The amp was re-capped relatively recently, but all of the original caps were left in the tone circuits. An adjustable bias circuit was added, and the power transformer was replaced long ago with an original blackface PT. The OT is original though, and that's the one that affects the tone! So, it's not 100% original, but all of the tone affecting components are original. Oh, and it does have a modern three-prong power cord.
The amp is loaded with vintage black plate RCA 6L6GC's, and various vintage preamp tubes (6 of them). So, that's a good $700 worth of tubes right there!
