Washburn N4 Nuno Bettencourt Padauk
N4 Padauk are the rarest of the N4 models to leave Chicago. I was told that this was 1 of 8 hand made Specials: Built with one-piece padauk bodies, 8 guitars were done as a test run for the 2.0 specification (Davies spec). It was ordered by Funky Munky Music which was a Washburn distributor. It was hand signed by Nuno on the back of the headstock and then put back in the case (included) and never used. It is in mint condition.
The 2.0 (Davies-spec) : Mid 2009, Washburn created a new model, using Nuno's main Davies N4 as a model. They moulded Nuno's N4 neck to reproduce its profile exactly. They added a curved Stephen's extended cutaway, and changed the output jack to a barrel one. They also increased the tremolo back routing to give more headspace to the tremolo to be used. These 2.0 specifications will be used on the XX-Anniversary and some other Davies Reissue models.
