This is a brand new TopHat Custom Shop Emplexador 100 watt head in fawn/black with silver trim.
It is our Marshall based rock head with two modes, classic and overdrive. The Classic (and basic platform of the amp) is straight 1968 plexi. The Overdrive mode is that of a late JMP or JCM800 models 2203/4.
We added a master volume, switchable bright and fat boosts.
It can produce from tweed bassman tones, original prime time plexi or higher gain 800 tones, but always a 1968 era platform/power supply etc.
Normally runs EL34’s but can be easily biased for other popular power tubes.
We are just now starting to sell direct to customers from our Custom Shop where we can build you any of our amps in any color/style you desire.
This model can be had at the same price in any other color and we also make a 50 watt tube rectified version, if you’re interested.
