It’s in great sadness I put this incredible bass for sale.
This is one of the rare Japanese Medium Scale (32 inch scale) Squiers from the 80's that are renowned for their quality, fit and finish. These basses were made with the same quality and attention to detail as the American made basses of that time from what I read.
1985/1986. Serial number: A033516
The bass is very light and comfortable playing and was just set up by professional, ready to play!
Has scratches, paint chips and dings; the scratch on the bottom neck is only on the laquer coating, nothing to worry about. (See pictures)
Had to replace the pots, put some good quality 500k pots. Besides that and the screws of the pickguard, the bass is in it's original form.
I’ve got two 1970s Fender Precision basses and this Squire has no reason to envy the Fender ones, it sounds AMAZING.
