This is an extremely rare amplifier that was handmade by "The Amp Doctor" himself; Cesar Diaz. It is a custom version of his Classic Twin 100 that is a two-channel amp that carries the Fender sparkle in the clean mode with plenty of headroom, but the growl of a hot-rodded Marshall when laying on the dirt! This was due to the many years of modifying Stevie Ray Vaughn's Fender & Marshall amplifiers where he loved Stevie's clean Fender tones, and over-driven Marshall tones. A little history on Cesar himself; Cesar was the long-time amp tech for some of the best guitarists in the world, ranging from the likes of; Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Neil Young, Warren Haynes, Billy Gibbons, Richie Sambora, and many, many others! Cesar was also an excellent guitar player as well, as he'd toured with Bob Dylan when guitar player; G.E. Smith left the band. He was also an outstanding guitar tech, but most professional guitarists utilized his unmatched skills in modifying and building amplifiers. The amplifier as stated, is a very rare Classic Twin 100 as it has a deeper than stock solid wood cabinet, is not equipped with a tone-sucking reverb unit, and has two British-made Vintage 30 Celestion Speakers! The cabinet measures 27 1/4" L, 18 7/8" H, and 10 5/8" D. Also, the amp comes with a mid-range Boost switch for leads, and the two channels can be switched or combined via the included Radial AB/Y Switch. When combining the two channels, you get an amazingly thick sound that is rich in harmonic overtones! Cesar unfortunately passed in April of 2002, and is sorely missed by the amazing list of clients and friends he'd worked with over the years. Invest in a piece of music history today... you won't believe the amazing tone that comes out of this amplifier!
