There are Telecasters and there are Telecasters, and this is a Telecaster. This straight from the private collection of Ray LaMontagne and from the Fender Custom Shop before that. It sounds like the absolute idea of what Telecaster should be, and feels and plays the very same.
Overall, this is in mint condition with a practically flawless black finish, save for a few light pick marking. It appears that there may have been a light finish touch up right near the neck joint where top horn meets the neck, but this just as easily could be from the factory.
The action is medium-low and plays smooth and evenly across the neck which feels like a traditional Fender C-shape.
Includes original case with case candy and certificate of authenticity signed by Ray.
