ULTRA RARE ELECTRO HARMONIX SEQUENCER PEDAL - 8 STEP SYNTH SYNTHESIZER 100% GOOD

Vintage 1978/9 Electro Harmonix Sequencer Drum analog sequencer pedal. This is the first version V1 model-- one of the rarest EH pedals from their drum and sequencer series (ie. this is not a guitar pedal). It was designed by Julia Truchsess - who also came up with the Clockworks, Space Drum, Crashpad and rackmount Guitar Synthesizer for Electro Harmonix in the late 70's and early 80's.   This is NOT related at all to the new 8 Step pedal EHX has out which is only a sequencer.  This unit is only a synth! This is one of the funnest little boxes I've ever messed with and highly addictive.  Slide each fader up to raise the pitch or down to lower the pitch of a single note in the 8 step sequence.  The entire sequence has master controls of rate and decay which can turn the notes from blips to full on notes with no decay.  The repeat/single switch gives you two options.  Repeat will allow the sequence to just keep repeating forever.  Single is really cool because it re-triggers from the top of the sequence every time you hit the trigger (the big leather pad is the trigger and this one works very well!).  You can really get some rhythmic voodoo happening in this mode because the Rate you have set combines with what you are playing and the possibilities are limitless.  Add in the next control option- either clock or pad control over the envelope and this is just a limitless little beast! This has been on our 'do not sell' shelf for a while.  It is freaking cool, fun, and sounds and works great.  So rare you might have never seen one before now.  Make your friends jealous and get the synth they can never have!  You will be creating sounds and sequences that sound like nobody else's!
