Warmoth Jazz Bass 1980 Natural Walnut
1980 Warmoth Jazz Bass:
THIS BASS IS FAR SUPERIOR TO ANYTHING FENDER EVER MADE!!!
One piece walnut body.
Neck: quartersawn maple unfinished, ebony fret board, minimal fret wear(original frets), custom neck is from and installed by luthier Scott MacDonald (only difference between this neck and a warmoth neck is that the fret board is thinner, but it is extremely hard ebony).
Neck is approximately 25 years old, I replaced the original Dimarzio neck.
2 Dimarzio pickups.
Badass 2 bridge.
Master Volume, Master Tone, switch either neck pu/bridge pu/both pu parallel/both pu series(gives a powerful sound).
Weight approximately 11 lbs.
I am the second owner, purchased approximately 35 years ago.
Schaller tuning pegs.
Sounds GREAT, played many a gig with this bass. The series sound is what made the Gibson Ripper I used to own sound so amazing!
Strap not included.
PICKUPUP PREFERRED, SHIPPING COST DEPENDENT ON HOW AND WHERE THE BASS IS SHIPPED. CONTINENTAL US ONLY!
Reasons I'm selling: Mainly play fretless, need to play lighter weight basses.
