This Fender Jazzmaster was made in the USA in 1966.
The neck is dated 1966 and the pickups and pots 1965.
This guitar shows normal play wear including dings and dents, but no structural damage. There is normal finish checking. All parts are original as is the finish.
It comes with the original case. The locks on the case are detached due to age/ wear and tear. (this was the condition I originally bought it in)
There is a slight texture to the rim of the guitar body (in the black area) you would not notice it apart from to touch- almost as if the original owner had put some tape on their and removed it.
I gave it to a vintage fender luthier who gave it a once over (keeping everything original) and removed any buzzing / action problems so is sounding and playing better than ever.
Originally bought the guitar form South Side Guitars NYC - its an amazing guitar and sad to see it go!
