Made in Japan Aria Pro II Thor Sound TSB 400 electric bass guitar all original with a crate gig bag

1980's Aria Pro 2 TSB-400 Thor Sound electric bass guitar with a gig bag. This was Made in Japan at the historic Matsumoku factory and has an enormous range in tone and feels and sounds like a few thousand dollar vintage Fender, but is just a few hundred dollars!!

This was the higher end of the Thor Sound models, this has two pickups which are massive split coils and this puts out a tremendous low end because of the p bass body design and rosewood fretboard, but you still can roll over the high end and get a lot of snap out of this bass. I have just set it up with new strings, the bass has low action and no functional issues at all. The frets are in fantastic shape and all of the electronics work and have been cleaned out.

Cosmetically this is far from a beater but there is wear. I have the wear pictured, there are dings and surface scratches, but not a lot of that. The worst of the wear is right by the input jack there are a few finish cracks. Each of the cutaways has a finish crack as well which any instrument with a cutaway is notorious for. Those are finish cracks, not wood cracks, but they are there.
