Huss & Dalton "Road Series" slope shouldered dreadnaught guitar with a Sitka top and Mahogany back and sides. The top is made of a high quality, beautifully silked quarter sawn piece of Spruce that delivers a crisp, clean and loud tone that will hold it's own in any Bluegrass ensemble! It's dressed with a gloss finish, while the back and sides are done in a matte finish.
Features also include flat top construction, black body binding, pearl dot inlays, rosewood fingerboard, bridge and peg head overlay, Gotoh 0933 tuners with oval buttons, bone nut and saddle, 1-23/32" nut and 2-7/32" saddle spacing. Notice too that this guitar comes with the higher quality TKL tweed case - Road Edition H&D's usually ship with a flat topped black TKL with no logo.
Huss & Dalton "Road Series" guitars are a great value from one of the leading boutique guitar builders in the US! Road Series guitars are produced in very limited runs, and may lack the "bling" of other Huss & Dalton builds. However, they offer the opportunity to enjoy a world class guitar at a much more affordable price! Road Series guitars exhibit the same high degree of attention to detail as all other Huss & Dalton guitars.
Our thanks to our friend Doug Yeomans for taking the time to demo this fine guitar for us!
