This will go on your permanent record!

This speaker cabinet once hung high on the wall of your old school and summoned you to the principal's office. And now, finally, you shall have your revenge! What was once an implement of Dark Sarcasm in the Classroom has been repurposed into a small (but MIGHTY) five watt combo amplifier.

Disclaimer- To avoid any misunderstanding, the Lil' Vibe is not, nor was ever intended to be, a "clone" of any particular amplifier by a well-known manufacturer, and should not be misconstrued as such. The tried-n-true AA764 circuit schematic was used as a reference/ "guideline," if you will, but nothing more.

Technical Details

12AX7 preamp & tremolo tubes

6V6GT single-ended output tube

"HIGH - LOW" switch adjusts power output

Solid state rectifier

Jensen P10R 10" alnico speaker

120v / approximately 5 watts

The Lil' Vibe has two inputs, a single volume and tone control, plus speed & intensity control for the tremolo. (Yes, it's been called "vibrato," but people will tell you that this is incorrect and it's actually a tremolo effect. Decide for yourself as you sit in Detention.) There's also a jack on the rear of the amp for an optional vibrato on/off footswitch, (not included.) There is a "high - low" power switch on the back that puts the 6V6 in "triode" mode, for less output volume when the neighbors complain. (And complain they will.)

Great sounding little amp for recording, bedroom practice or small gigs. Just don't bring it to school or you won't get it back until the end of the semester.

Thanks for looking!
