The Ovation CS24P Celebrity Standard Plus guitar has the classic mid-depth Lyrachord cutaway body with a gorgeous premium top featuring quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing. Ovation reviewed their earlier bracing patterns extensively to arrive at this remarkable design, which borrows from the past and is voiced for the present with natural tone and optimal response and power.
Together, body and top create the classic Ovation sound, resonating with full projection, remarkable note clarity and balance, and nuanced tonal complexity. The beautiful top also has an elegant abalone rosette, ivory white binding and entrancing Trans Black gloss finish.
Other premium features include an effortlessly playable neck with a natural satin finish and rosewood-veneer headstock, 20-fret bound rosewood fretboard with abalone microdot inlays, and a rosewood bridge. For great live sound, the CS24P features an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system.
The popular OP-4BT preamp features 3-band EQ with +/-12 dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, and a handy battery status light. An accurate and easy-to-use onboard chromatic tuner works equally well for standard, open, and altered tunings

This is a refurbished instrument. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected and cleared by a certified technician. The guitars are sent there for many reasons, including: Cosmetic flaws, Minor repairs & Discontinued models.
Most of the guitars that we sell are 100% flaw free. Any visible or known flaws are outlined in the description and include pictures of the specific flaw. The actual guitar for sale is shown in the photographs.
All of our guitars come with a standard factory setup, but may require a small amount of fine tuning to fit the players personal taste. In order to prevent false warranty claims, the guitar is given a brand new serial number and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" by the authorized refurbishing center. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!
Condition: The authorized technicians found no issues with the guitar. It looks and plays like new! Save Big!
