Beautiful, weird, hard-to-find, hand-wired, retro-sci-fi, stereo unbalanced (guitar level) tube buffer in red sparkle. Insert it at the end of your guitar recording signal chain and it adds just a little roundness. Not a compressor, just a little tube roundness. Turn up the gain (with the original cream chicken-head knobs) and it imparts a little distortion, but I tended to run it where it was barely noticeable, just... a little tube goodness. It is NOT a tube distortion box, NOR a compressor; it is really just a very clean hi-fi tube buffer.
It's hard to say what this really does to your signal, just... something...

Has velcro on the bottom than has probably fused with the cream paint on the underside so I left that in place
