Up for auction is my unbelievable Antique ,100 year old + , bowl-back mandolin. This mandolin is in fantastic condition for such an old instrument. It's made with a solid spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back with a solid cedar neck. It's unmarked but I believe it's made in Chicago around the turn of the century by either Washburn or Regal ? There are no cracks and the action in low and excellent.I put on a brand new set of Martin strings and it sounds amazing! It might need fretwork after the 12th fret to make it perfect. It has a beautiful, inlaid mother of pearl, abalone and maple pick-guard to die for. I love the antique marquetry of the Herringbone binding and rosette. Gorgeous original ,ebony nut and "ebony & ivory" bridge. Please feel free to ask questions before bidding or making an offer. International buyers pay extra shipping. Good luck in bidding.
