The “Star” is a one of a kind guitar. The neck is made of one piece Bolivan Rosewood handmade by Luthier John Love. The body is made of solid Koa and was once owned by Ron’s friend, Tommy Keifer (Cinderella) and in 1979 Ron finished making the guitar and used it on the Waysted Vices album & UK tour, Ronnie James Dio's "Holy Diver" European Tour and the Ozzy Osbourne "Bark At The Moon" USA tour with Motley Crue. This tour is known as the infamous Ozzy's Waysted Crue tour.
The Tremolo system is a prototype Kahler 1 of 100. The vintage pick up is an early 70’s DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker with vintage electronics. Ron played it on Waysted’s “Love Loaded” video, so listen to the song to hear it for yourself!
There are some dings and scratches and some of the veneer on the headstock is missing by the locking nut. They are the battle scars of touring and stage collisions with Pete Way.
The guitar and neck are sound and plays great with incredible action!Comes with a new hardshell case.
