Galveston steel bodied resonator guitar modeled after the classic Nationals played by Delta Blues greats Son House, Booker "Bukka" White and many others. Steel resonator guitars differ from standard guitars and from other resonators in that the body of the guitar is made from steel. While that can’t be done with non-resonator guitars that get their sound from the wooden sound board, because resonator guitars get their sound from the spun metal cones within the body, the actual body material doesn’t really matter that much. Since resonator guitars are often played the same way as steel lap guitars, why not make the body from steel? It creates a sturdy, durable material and gives the instrument a different look and feel.
There are many different steel resonator guitars available. Just look at this heavy gage metal gal and you can just image how awesome this steel resonator sounds. Has some scratches and rubs from being played with most of the Gold worn away. Small hump in the fretboard at the 14th / 17th fret. The upper frets play clean. Will need a set up.
